The Maryland Addendum to Peace Order Petition is a series of documents designed to help protect an individual from abuse or harassment. DC-PO-001 is the initial Petition for Peace Order. The petitioner must provide the full name and address of the respondent, describe the abuse or harassment, and explain why they believe the respondent is responsible. The CC-DC-PO-001A is the Consent for Alternate Service. This document allows the petitioner to identify a third party who can accept service of the petition on behalf of the respondent. The DC-PO-001S is the Supporting Documents Form, which requires the petitioner to provide evidence of the abuse or harassment. This can include photos, recordings, and police reports. All three documents must be completed and filed with the court in order for the petition to be processed.
