Maryland Affordable Housing Land Trust Registration is an initiative created to help preserve and maintain affordable housing in Maryland. It is a voluntary registration program that allows organizations to register as a Land Trust and receive various benefits, including access to resources, grants, and tax credits. The program is open to any public or private nonprofit entities that meet certain criteria. The two types of Maryland Affordable Housing Land Trust Registration are: 1. Maryland Affordable Housing Land Trust — an entity that acquires, holds, and/or manages real property for the purpose of providing affordable housing. 2. Maryland Affordable Housing Land Bank — an entity that acquires, holds, and/or manages real property for the purpose of providing affordable housing and/or other community development initiatives.
