Kentucky Articles of Incorporation (Domestic Business Corp) are official documents filed with the Kentucky Secretary of State in order to create a business corporation in the state of Kentucky. The articles must include the name of the corporation, the purpose for which it is being formed, the address of the registered office, the name and address of the registered agent, the name and address of each incorporated, the authorized number of shares and classes of stock, the name and address of each director, and any other information required by the Secretary of State. There are two types of Kentucky Articles of Incorporation (Domestic Business Corp): Standard Articles of Incorporation and Professional Corporation Articles of Incorporation. Both types must be signed and notarized by at least one incorporated and filed with the appropriate fee. Upon approval, a certificate of incorporation will be issued.
