Kentucky Chapter 13 Discharge is a final court order that releases a debtor from all dischargeable debts. This is a legally binding document that permanently eliminates a debtor's obligation to pay certain debts. There are two types of Kentucky Chapter 13 Discharge: General Discharge and Conditional Discharge. A General Discharge eliminates all the debts listed in the debtor’s Chapter 13 repayment plan, and a Conditional Discharge eliminates some debts listed in the debtor’s plan. In order to receive a Kentucky Chapter 13 Discharge, the debtor must have completed all payments and fulfilled all the requirements of the repayment plan. Once the debtor is discharged, they are no longer obligated to pay the debts that were included in the plan.
