Media coverage of court proceedings with cameras and audio recording devices is known as Extended Media Coverage (EMC). The policy does not permit the news media to film or photograph anv of you as jurors or the jury panel as a whole in the courtroom and outside the courtroom.Extended media coverage requires the advanced permission of the court. Effective January 1, 2020, Local Court Rule 1.15. 5 is effective which sets the guidelines for allowing extended media coverage in 22nd Circuit courtrooms. Allows for expanded media coverage (audio or video) recording or broadcasting, televising, electronic re- cording, or photographing. Cameras and recording devices may be used as well, as long as media members follow the guidelines set forth in Supreme Court Rule 30. Any party or witness may lodge with the judge a written objection to expanded coverage of all or a portion of a proceeding. There are several steps to apply for a visa. The order of these steps and how you complete them may vary at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate where you apply.
