The Hawaii Blanket Purchase Agreement for Contract Court Interpreters (FY 2012) is a contract between the State of Hawaii and language service providers to provide professional court interpreter services for Hawaii courts. The objective of this agreement is to provide qualified interpreters to meet the language needs of the state's legal system. This agreement covers the provision of interpretation services for all court proceedings in Hawaii and covers both consecutive and simultaneous interpreting. There are three types of blanket purchase agreements for contract court interpreters (FY 2012): 1) Hawaii's Justice Interpreter Certification program; 2) Hawaii's Language Service Provider Interpreter program; and 3) Hawaii's Video Remote Interpreting program. Each of these programs is designed to provide certified, qualified, and experienced interpreters for the court system in Hawaii.
