A Delaware Notice of Cancellation or Termination of Policy is a document used to inform an individual or organization that their insurance coverage is being cancelled or terminated. The Delaware Notice of Cancellation or Termination of Policy informs the recipient of their right to appeal the decision and outlines the procedure for doing so. There are two types of Delaware Notice of Cancellation or Termination of Policy: a Notice of Non-Renewal and a Notice of Termination. A Notice of Non-Renewal is sent when an insurance company decides not to renew an existing policy. A Notice of Termination is sent when an insurance company decides to end a policy before its expiration date. Both types of Delaware Notice of Cancellation or Termination of Policy must include: the name and address of the policyholder; the policy number; the reason for cancellation or termination; the effective date of the cancellation or termination; and the right to appeal the decision.
