Delaware Uniform Consent To Service of Process is an agreement that allows a person or entity to be served with legal papers or documents in a certain jurisdiction without having to appear in court in that jurisdiction. It is used to accept service of process in Delaware from any other state or country, and can be signed by any individual or entity authorized to do so in the state of Delaware. The agreement is signed before a notary public and filed with the Delaware Secretary of State. There are two types of Delaware Uniform Consent To Service of Process: General Consent and Limited Consent. General Consent allows the signing party to accept service of process in any action or proceeding in Delaware, while Limited Consent allows the signing party to accept service of process only in one specific action or proceeding.
