The District of Columbia Wage Schedule is a document issued by the District of Columbia Department of Employment Services that sets out the minimum wage rates that employers must pay their employees in the District of Columbia. The schedule is divided into two types: the Minimum Wage Rate and the Living Wage Rate. The Minimum Wage Rate applies to employers with 25 or fewer employees and is currently set at $13.25 per hour. The Living Wage Rate applies to employers with 26 or more employees and is currently set at $15.00 per hour. Both of these wage rates are subject to annual increases and are enforced by the District of Columbia Office of Wage-Hour Compliance.
