Arizona Compensation Claim in Excess of the Statutory Case Compensation Maximum (Court of Appeals) is a legal remedy available to an injured person in the state of Arizona who has suffered an injury or death caused by the negligence or wrongful act of another. This type of claim allows the injured person to seek compensation in excess of the statutory maximum amount allowed by the Arizona Court of Appeals. There are two types of Arizona Compensation Claims in Excess of the Statutory Case Compensation Maximum (Court of Appeals): (1) Compensatory Damages Claims, which seek to compensate the injured person for their losses; and (2) Punitive Damages Claims, which are intended to punish the wrongdoer and deter similar bad conduct in the future.
