The Alaska Notice of Respondent's Rights Before Visitor's Interview is a legal document issued to visitors of Alaska who are to be interviewed in regard to immigration matters. This notice outlines the legal rights of the respondent to ensure a fair and just interview process. The document includes information about the respondent's right to remain silent, right to an attorney, right to have an interpreter present, and the consequences of failing to comply with the instructions of the interview. There are two types of Alaska Notice of Respondent’s Rights Before Visitor’s Interview: (1) a notice issued to a visitor who is being interviewed by a Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officer, and (2) a notice issued to a visitor who is being interviewed by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer. Both notices provide the same basic rights outlined above.
