The Alaska Appellant Memorandum Cover Sheet is a document used by lawyers filing appeals in the state of Alaska. It provides the Supreme Court of Alaska with information about the case, including the names of the parties, the court where the trial was held, the case number and the type of case. It also serves as a way for the court to determine which rules of appellate procedure will apply to the appeal. There are three different types of Alaska Appellant Memorandum Cover Sheet: Civil, Criminal and Juvenile. The Civil cover sheet is used for appeals of civil matters such as contracts, torts, and other civil disputes. The Criminal cover sheet is used for appeals of criminal matters such as criminal convictions and sentences. The Juvenile cover sheet is used for appeals of juvenile court matters such as juvenile delinquency proceedings.
