New Hampshire Protective Order — Civil Form 5 is a document that can be used to request a restraining order in civil court. It is a legal document that is used to protect people from abuse, harassment, stalking, or other acts of violence. It can be used in cases of domestic violence, family violence, dating violence, and sexual assault. The court can grant a protective order that orders the abuser to stay away from the victim, not contact the victim, and/or have no contact with the victim's family or friends. There are two types of New Hampshire Protective Order — Civil Form 5: a temporary restraining order and a permanent restraining order. A temporary restraining order is issued without a hearing and is valid for up to 10 days, while a permanent restraining order can only be issued after a full hearing in court.
