Student Alcohol Policy (CAS & SBS) Intoxication of person, or being in the presence of alcoholic beverages in any campus building or property controlled by the University (including residence halls or leased residential properties), regardless of age, is prohibited by any student or guest of a student.
The acceptance rate at Suffolk University is 86.8%. For every 100 applicants, 87 are admitted. This means the school is lightly selective.
Students Beginning in the Fall Semester If you are a first-year or transfer student beginning in the fall 2025 semester, submitting your deposit by May 1 guarantees your spot in University-sponsored housing for two years.
Suffolk University housing options are located throughout downtown Boston and right in the heart of the city. Learn, explore, and experience student living at it's best with Suffolk housing. Our downtown Boston residence halls range from traditional dorms to apartment style living.
Students are not required to live in University-sponsored housing and may pursue off-campus or commuting options. Some students choose to live in University-sponsored housing for their first year but move off campus for their remaining time at Suffolk. It is your choice.
The applicant cannot be required to provide the sponsor with any service in exchange for room and board. There are no dormitories or residence halls at Suffolk County Community College. Applicants need to arrange for their housing.
