WSU will not allow in campus housing any animal that poses a threat to the health or safety of others, would cause substantial physical damage to the property of others, would pose an undue financial and administrative burden, or would fundamentally alter the nature of housing operations.

Service and Support Animals in University Housing Under WAC 504-36-020, pets are not allowed in university buildings. Refer to WAC 504-36-020 for exceptions, which include trained service animals.
Residence Halls Residence hall spaces are furnished and include various community spaces for students to interact. Each community has a live-in Resident Advisor that provides support, guidance and programming events for residents. The spaces within Residence Halls are primarily for first-year students.
