Description

The Educational Assistance Program for Employees in Florida is designed to support employees in enhancing their skills and improving performance through educational opportunities. This program allows eligible employees, specifically full-time regular staff who have completed a year of service, to receive reimbursement for tuition and registration fees for approved courses offered by accredited institutions. Employees must declare the course they wish to pursue and ensure it aligns with their job responsibilities. Reimbursement rates are based on the grades received, with a maximum limit per semester. Additionally, employees must seek prior approval, remain employed upon course completion, and provide proof of payment and grades to qualify for reimbursement. If an employee leaves the company within two years of receiving reimbursement, they must repay the employer. This form is especially useful for attorneys, partners, owners, and paralegals as it clarifies the educational assistance process, implementing a clear structure for reimbursement that can benefit employees' career advancement while ensuring compliance with the company's policies.
