Health Department Strategic Plan The Fairfax County Health Department (FCHD) Strategic Plan FY 2023-2027 outlines goals and strategies across each of four priority areas – Health Equity in Action, Vibrant Community Relationships, Thriving Workforce, and Robust Organizational Infrastructure.
Shorts, skirts, or dresses that are too short or too tight should not be worn to school. Clothing that promotes drugs, alcohol, or violence is prohibited in Fairfax County schools. Clothing that contains inappropriate language or sexual innuendo is also inappropriate.
Recipients of honors on academic catalogs for 2021-2022 or earlier receive their degrees with one of the following levels of distinction: laude (GPA of 3.5–3.64); magna laude (GPA of 3.65–3.79); or. summa laude (GPA of 3.8–4.0).
Grade point average (GPA) is calculated based on all high school courses for which credit has been earned, attempted, and previously awarded. FCPS high schools do not rank students. High school courses taken in middle school may be expunged from the high school transcript.
The honor roll has two categories: First Honors--grade point average of 4.0. Second Honors--grade point average of 3.0-3.9.
