The Active membership of the Chapter shall consist of all persons who meet the requirements of the Bylaws of the Corporation. Application for Membership: Application form for membership shall be issued to each prospective member.The primary purpose of Nassau County Intergroup of Overeaters Anonymous is to carry the message of recovery to those with the problem of eating compulsively. Article Ill: Membership. Section 1: Membership in the Chapter shall consist of Active, Associate, Retired, and Honorary members. The Mayor and three members of Council shall be members of the Economic Development Corporation. A new member shall not have the right to vote for one year.
