To change the date/place of birth in the passport, you have to apply for a "Re-issue" of passport and get the specified change done in the personal particulars. Most of the time, once the application is submitted, you cannot directly edit the information online. If there is no option to edit the application online, contact the DFA's Help Desk or Customer Service at least a few days before your appointment to inquire about correction procedures.
