Once you've logged into your Riverside account, go to a studio with a recent recording, and click the View recordings button. And here you'll see all your previous episodes listed. Go into an episode, and you'll see two buttons in the top right, edit and export.
Once the recording is finished, each of the audio and video tracks will be uploaded to the host's dashboard. Riverside.fm will do this automatically. All files then get stored on Riverside's cloud.
Before you hit record, make sure all participants tune in from a computer with a google chrome browser that's up to date. It's best to quit chrome if you already have it open and start fresh close all other open tabs on your browser and only have riverside open when recording.
Firefox has the absolute most customization options. You can pretty much rewrite the UI via userChrome. css and userChrome. js. it's also fairly secure. The other option for customization would be Vivaldi. Those are both managed and developed by pretty robust dev teams and are therefore very secure.
Navigate to your Riverside Dashboard and locate the recordings you wish to export. If you just finished recording, exiting your Riverside Studio will take you directly to the corresponding recording page. Click Export > Descript in the top-right corner.
Our local recording engine works only with Chrome and Edge on laptops or desktops. To use Riverside on the iPhone or Android you need to use the Riverside.fm iPhone or Android app. Browsers like safari and Chrome on mobile phones and tablets are not (yet) supported.
With Riverside.fm podcasters can record lossless audio and up to 4K, HD video. Also, before we dig further into Riverside's features, we're making it clear that you have to be on Google Chrome to use Riverside.fm. It won't function properly with Mozilla or Safari. Riverside.fm functions very similarly to Zoom.
Riverside supports Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge, so make sure you and your guests have one of those browsers installed and ready to use on the computer. Firefox, Brave and Safari, which is the default web browser on Mac, are not currently supported.

You can usually change the layout in Riverside by clicking on the settings or layout icon within the studio interface, whether you're using the browser or the Mac App. If you don't see it, try reaching out to Riverside's support team directly for more detailed guidance.
