The Grim Reaper will stay while a playable ghost is on the lot. Unlike most games, Sims cannot plead with him to save their loved ones. He can be only interacted with by ghost Sims.
There are a few scenarios in which Sims cannot plead with the Grim Reaper. If the death is from old age, the plea interaction will be unavailable. If a Sim is eaten by a Cowplant, it will immediately spit out a gravestone and the Grim Reaper will not appear.
Go to the community lot and open Buy mode (F2). Go to Objects By Room, Living Room, Audio and you should find the Grimophone if you've unlocked it. Put a Grimophone on the lot somewhere then go back to Live mode (F1). Click on the Grimophone and see if you can Summon The Grim Reaper.
All you need to do is keep pushing up that romance meter until the option appears. There are no cheats required for this, but sometimes you need to repeat the selection two or three times before it happens. The option to woohoo with Grim is available for everyone, as it is base game compatible.
In ``The Sims'' series, particularly in ``The Sims 4,'' you cannot have a baby with the Grim Reaper.
The Reaper has no weaknesses but also no resistances. You can use literally anything, so pick the most powerful attack for every unit you're controlling.
Sims who are confident can demand the Grim Reaper to spare the Sim's life, with a 40% success chance. This increases to 50% if the pleading Sim is very confident.
Once activated, hover your cursor above the Grim Reaper and shift click to be given the option to add him to your Sim's family. The option to marry the Grim Reaper will be available after completing this final step.
