Who can apply for the Old Age Pension scheme in Himachal Pradesh? Elderly citizens with 60 years or above age with an annual income below Rs. 35,000 per year are eligible to apply for the scheme. What is the monthly pension amount provided under the scheme?

Monthly Pension of Rs. 1,000/- will be provided those male beneficiary whose age is between 60 years to 69 years. Whereas, Monthly Pension of Rs. 1,500/- will be provided to those female beneficiary whose age is between 60 years to 69 years.

About Unemployment Allowance. 10+2 or above educated eligible youth will get Rs. 1000/- per month as Unemployment Allowance while physically challenged (having 50% or more permanent disability) unemployed youth will get Rs. 1500/- per month for the duration of 2 years.

Age should be between 60 to 150. Applicant should be below poverty line or his/her annual income should be upto for Rural Areas Rs. 46,080/- and Urban Areas Rs. 56,460/-.

Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh Thakur Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu announced a roll-out of Rs. 1,500 per month to all women aged over 18 years under the flagship 'Indira Gandhi Pyari Behna Sukh-Sammaan Nidhi Yojana' here today.
