We wax sealed our vellum jackets and then put that inside an envelope so it doesn't affect mailing. This document is in spectacular condition for being nearly 200 years old, with only minor creases to the corners and a small tear in one edge. Preserved beautifully this deed is vellum sheet with threer impressed wax seals (in red).
