About The Board of adjustment The Board of Adjustment (BOA) holds quasi-judicial public hearings to determine requests made by property owners in the City of San Antonio for special exceptions, variances and appeals of administrative interpretations or decisions, as authorized by state law and local ordinance.
All Council and Council Committee meetings are open to the public, with the exception of "closed session" meeting items. Members of the public may comment on agenda items either at Council Committee meetings or Council meetings.
City Council meets weekly for A Session and B Session meetings. Meetings may be rescheduled due to holidays or special events. No meetings are held in July, to allow staff time to produce the City's annual budget.
Every two weeks, the New York City Council meets for what is called the Stated Meeting to introduce and vote on legislation. A report on the meeting is posted the next morning. There is only one Stated Meeting a month during the summer.
