Capture your thoughts, discoveries, and ideas in your very own digital notebook using OneNote for Mac. Now it is easier than ever capture your thoughts, add pictures or files, and share notes across your devices and with others.
Go to the Pages app on your Mac. Choose Pages > Settings (from the Pages menu at the top of your screen). Click General at the top of the settings window, then select “Use template.”
On the ribbon, choose Insert > Page Templates. In the Templates task pane, click the small arrows next to the category names to expand them. To apply a template to a new page, select its name in the list. If you don't like your selection, select another template to replace your previous selection.
Open OneNote and click the Insert Tab on the Ribbon, then click on Page Templates. In the Templates window pane, select the Informal Meeting Notes Template. Fill in the template with your agenda details as shown in the Meeting Agenda Examples below.
Open OneNote for Mac. In the app menu bar, go to OneNote > Preferences.
Create a new page To create more space in your notebook, you can add as many pages as you want. Note: OneNote for Mac does not currently support creating pages using templates.
Take notes in a meeting In Outlook, open the meeting for which you want to take notes. Choose Meeting > Meeting Notes. In the Meeting Notes dialog box, do one of the following. In the Select Location in OneNote dialog box, choose a section for the new notes and click OK.

OneNote comes with several built-in templates, including decorative page backgrounds and to-do lists. You can create your own template or customize an existing one.
Look for a folder called \OneNote Notebooks or \Notebooks. This may be at the root of the OneDrive account or under the \Documents folder. In the folder will be OneNote shortcuts to all notebooks.
