Mormon Heritage Since that day, Mormon cultural and heritage has made Utah a unique place to visit, today, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints members comprise about 60 percent of the state's population.
Population & Diversity In 2022, there were 7.33 times more White (Non-Hispanic) residents (131k people) in Salt Lake City, UT than any other race or ethnicity. There were 17.9k Other (Hispanic) and 12.4k White (Hispanic) residents, the second and third most common ethnic groups.
