A School Improvement Plan (SIP) is a strategic blueprint that schools use to enhance student learning and improve educational practices. It outlines specific goals for improvement, actions to achieve those goals, and methods for measuring progress.
Students must pass 4 out of 6 classes to be promoted from sixth to seventh grade and then from seventh to eighth grade. They need four points in each subject within the four quarters. The subject areas are ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies.
Students, who wish to earn a Standard Diploma, must meet the graduation requirement of 40 service learning hours plus a written reflection. Students should be encouraged to use their service learning experiences as discussion or written topics whenever appropriate as a part of class assignments.
