You will lose your Philippines citizenship upon acquisition of a foreign citizenship of any kind. It is automatic. You can re-aqcuire that citizenship by taking the oath of allegiance at the Filipino embassy, which won't force you to lose your other nationality.
Your passport is automatically invalidated upon naturalizing. Remember that you do not automatically become a dual citizen upon naturalizing, and it is against the law for foreigners to use Philippine passports.
To be eligible for dual citizenship under Republic Act No. 9225 (Dual Citizenship Law), you must be a former natural-born Filipino citizen who became a naturalized citizen of another country. You can also include your unmarried children under 18 in your application so they can become Filipino citizens too.

Filipino citizens who naturalize in the United States automatically lose their Filipino citizenship, but natural-born Filipinos may apply to reclaim it. (See more info about immigrating to the USA from the Philippines.)
