FAQ

Law school is an academic challenge; most students agree the first year (“1L” year) is the most difficult. In part, this is because law school is taught using methods entirely different than the lecture method used in most college classrooms.

University of Utah Law School Admissions The Utah law school accepts candidates with a median LSAT score of 158. Applicants should also have a median undergraduate GPA of 3.56 to get a chance to study at the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law.

I used a backpack throughout law school and use one currently for work. Carrying textbooks and a computer, among other things, in a messenger bag is no joke on your shoulders/neck/back. For law school, I definitely recommend a backpack. In my experience, it's what most everyone else will have anyway.

University of Utah (Quinney) is ranked No. 28 (tie) out of 196 in Best Law Schools. Schools were assessed on their performance across a set of widely accepted indicators of excellence.

Pens and pencils: I found pencil helpful for working out calculations because the maths can get a little messy. I found some really cool eco-friendly pencils on Amazon which are made from recycled newspaper! I have linked them here. Plastic tabs: Tabs will be your best friends during the LPC.
