Admission Requirements (All Applicants) Preferred Cumulative Undergraduate GPA of 3.0. Applicants with GPAs between 2.5 and 2.99 will be given lower priority.
Applicant's parents' employment background and two letters of recommendation (Note: This only applies if you're applying to EOP) California statewide student ID (optional); every K-12 student in a California public school is assigned an ID number. The number should be printed on your transcript.

Not all schools have a recommendation letter requirement. However, most selective colleges and universities — Harvard, Stanford, and USC, just to name a few — require one to three recommendation letters, usually from your guidance counselor and at least one teacher.
The acceptance rate at Cal State Sacramento is 92.2%. They accept nearly all students, so for the most part, you just need to submit an application to get in. But if you don't meet all their application requirements, you'll be one of the very few people who gets rejected.
