The Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) Certificate is a certification given to law enforcement officers who have completed the required training and education to meet the standards set by their state's law enforcement agency.
Educational Requirement Applicants must possess a high school diploma or a G.E.D. Certificate.
Businesses that are incorporated in another state will typically apply for a Pennsylvania certificate of authority. Doing so registers the business as a foreign entity and eliminates the need to incorporate a new entity. Operating without a certificate of authority may result in penalties or fines.
A certificate of subsistence (good standing) states when the corporation, limited partnership, limited liability company or limited liability partnership is still in existence as a matter of record in the Office of the Secretary of the Commonwealth.
Counsel filing a notice of appeal or petition for review is required to complete a docketing statement. Counsel's filing of the docketing statement also satisfies the requirement that the attorney filing the notice of appeal file a statement within 14 days identifying the parties the attorney represents on appeal.
