I have come up with a simple protocol and will a little C app that should be portable.Each USB transfer is one packet, which can be up to 64 bytes if using bulk type. If you want to send more than 64 bytes, you have to use multiple packets. Once the file transfer is complete, you can remove the USB from the first computer and slot it into the second.
