Follow the steps below to "flatten" a completed PDF fillable form: Open fillable form. Add appropriate data. Right click on document and select Print. Select the PDF printer. ( ... Select OK. Specify location to save the printed, "flattened" version of the form. Select Save. File the "flattened" form in CM/ECF.
A fillable PDF form is an interactive PDF form, while a non-fillable PDF is a regular PDF. It is good to know what type of PDF you have when using the PDF Web API. Those two PDF types use different parameters to add text.
There are two types of PDF forms; the Fillable PDF form with form fields and the Non-fillable PDF form with no interactive form fields.
Filling Out Non-Interactive PDF Forms with PDFpen Select the Text tool. Place the cursor where you want to add text. Next, drag to create a text box. Type your response in the text box you just created. Your text will appear in PDFpen's default font and color. Repeat the steps above to complete the remaining document.
Open the document in the PDF editor. Select Tools > Edit PDF > Add Text. Drag the new text box to the preferred location. Add text to the box and choose the formatting options.
