The donor and recipient of a vehicle in Minnesota are both required to file the MN Vehicle Gift Form (DOT-829).
The buyer must complete an Application to Title and Register a Motor Vehicle. This form will allow the State of Minnesota to transfer the title and registration of the vehicle to Minnesota. It is not necessary for the seller to sign this form.
Obtain a copy of the mn vehicle gift form from the Minnesota Department of Public Safety website or a local DMV office. The recipient will need to cover insurance, maintenance, fuel, taxes and possibly parking fees. Consider whether a car is the best gift. Acquire the vehicle. Write a bill of sale. Transfer the title. Complete an affidavit of motor vehicle gift transfer form. Fill out your tax forms.

Annual report for the previous financial year. Financial report (balance sheet andf profit/loss statement) for the current year (for 3, 6 or 9 months, respectively)
