Jurors are obligated to remain 'on call' for jury service up to two (2) weeks. During that time, they may be called to serve on a jury. Jurors normally serve from 9AM to 5PM.
Rule -2 - Form of Motion; Hearing (a)Generally. An application to the court for an order shall be by motion, or in special cases, by order to show cause. A motion, other than one made during a trial or hearing, shall be by notice of motion in writing unless the court permits it to be made orally.
Courtroom Regulations Cell phones, pagers and electronic devices must be turned off in the courtroom. You are not permitted to read newspapers or other materials in the courtroom. You are not permitted to bring food or beverages into the courtroom.
To defend against a motion to dismiss for lack of personal jurisdiction, you should be prepared to show the judge that the other party has had “contact” with the state where you have filed the case, s/he was served in the state, or there is some other reason why the court has jurisdiction.
The only place you can't take food is the court room itself. They should however provide water for jurors.
Therefore, jurors are requested to dress in a manner that is respectful to the litigants and the court. You may wear comfortable but appropriate business-like clothing. Shorts, jeans, t-shirts, tank tops and sweatshirts should not be worn.

On any issue triable of right by a jury, a party may demand a jury trial by: (1) serving the other parties with a written demand—which may be included in a pleading—no later than 14 days after the last pleading directed to the issue is served; and. (2) filing the demand in ance with Rule 5(d).
MOTIONS TO DISMISS IN CIVIL CASES ARE COMMON In these civil litigation cases, motions to dismiss are likely based on “failure to state a claim.” A motion to dismiss is filed in response to a complaint filed by the Plaintiff requesting that the court grant them some form of relief usually damages.
You must complete and submit an original and two copies of the enclosed complaint form as well as the Civil Cover Sheet. You should also keep an additional copy of any document filed with the Court for your own records. All copies of the complaint must be identical to the original.
