Depends on how “wrong” it is. The mail will go to the correct office (it's sorted by zip code). Once there, if it is something that can be figured out, they may be able to get it to the correct destination. If it's COMPLETELY wrong, it will be considered undeliverable and will be returned to sender.
If the address includes the correct street name and number as well as city and state, it will get delivered to the correct address. This is a common thing postal workers see every day and we know how to handle it. The incorrect zip code may delay the letter or package a day or two but it should get there.
