The Wyoming Affidavit of Survivorship (also referred to as the Wyoming Affidavit of Survivorship and Transfer) is a legal document used in the state of Wyoming to transfer real estate from one party to another. It is used to transfer real estate from an individual to a married couple, from a married couple to an individual, or from an individual to another individual. The affidavit must be signed by all parties involved in the transfer and notarized by a notary public. There are two types of Wyoming Affidavit of Survivorship: Survivorship Deed and Transfer on Death Deed. The Survivorship Deed is used to transfer real estate to a married couple or between two individuals, while the Transfer on Death Deed is used to transfer real estate from an individual to a designated beneficiary upon death. Both documents must include the name of the granter, the name of the grantee, the property description, the county where the property is located, and the notary public’s signature and seal.
