A Wyoming Order for Income Withholding is a document issued by the court to a non-custodial parent that orders an employer to withhold a certain amount of money from the parent’s wages to pay for the support of a child. The Order requires the employer to deduct the amount of money from the non-custodial parent's wages and send it to the Wyoming Child Support Enforcement Program (CSP) each month. The Order may also require the employer to provide the CSP with information on the non-custodial parent's wages and employment status. The Wyoming Order for Income Withholding may be for child support, medical support, or both. The Order will specify the amount to be withheld and the duration of the withholding. The Wyoming Order for Income Withholding may also include an Order to Withhold for Spousal Support or an Order to Withhold for Other Purposes. An Order to Withhold for Spousal Support requires an employer to deduct a certain amount of money from the non-custodial parent's wages to pay for the support of a spouse. An Order to Withhold for Other Purposes requires an employer to deduct a certain amount of money from the non-custodial parent's wages to pay for other purposes, such as debts, fines, or restitution.
