A Wyoming Notice of Objection to Claim is a document filed with the Wyoming Secretary of State's Office when an individual or entity wishes to dispute a claim or charge that has been made against them. This notice serves as an objection to the claim and puts the claimant on notice of the dispute. There are two types of Wyoming Notice of Objection to Claim: General Objection and Limited Objection. A General Objection is used when the objector wishes to dispute all or part of the claim or charge. A Limited Objection is filed when the objector wishes to dispute only part, but not all, of the claim or charge. Both types of Notice of Objection must be signed by the objector and include a statement of the objection being made, the amount of the claim being disputed, and any supporting evidence or documentation. A copy of the Notice of Objection must also be sent to the claimant via certified mail.
