Washington Order on Respondent's Petition to Reopen Temporary Sexual Assault Protection Order (ORPRSXP) is an order issued by a court in the state of Washington that allows the petitioner to reopen a Temporary Sexual Assault Protection Order (TS APO) that has previously been denied or expired. This order can be issued if the respondent has filed a petition to reopen the TS APO and the court has determined that the petitioner has demonstrated a reasonable belief that the respondent poses a threat of physical harm or harm to the petitioner's property, or to the safety of any other person. There are two different types of Washington Order on Respondent's Petition to Reopen Temporary Sexual Assault Protection Order (ORPRSXP): 1) an Ex Parte Order, which is an order issued without the respondent's presence in the courtroom; and 2) a Show Cause Order, which is an order requiring the respondent to appear in court and provide evidence to support their petition to reopen the TS APO.
