Washington Designation of and Consent by In-State (Resident) Agent (APR SAG) is a form that is required by the Washington Secretary of State for a foreign corporation to register and conduct business in the state. It designates an individual or company to be the resident agent for the foreign corporation in the state. The form contains information about the foreign corporation, the resident agent, and the resident agent's address in Washington. There are two types of Washington Designation of and Consent by In-State (Resident) Agent (APR SAG): the original and the renewal. The original form is submitted when a foreign corporation first registers to do business in the state. The renewal form is submitted upon the expiration of the original filing. Both forms must be signed and notarized by the foreign corporation's designated resident agent.
