A Washington Final Parentage Order (also known as an Establish Parentage Order) is a legal document issued by a court in the state of Washington that establishes the legal parents of a child. It can be used to establish the legal parents of a child born in or out of wedlock. The order typically includes the name of the legal father and mother, the child's name, the date of birth, and other relevant information. There are two types of Washington Final Parentage Order: a Default Parentage Order and a Contested Parentage Order. A Default Parentage Order is entered when both parties agree to the parentage of the child and no court hearing is required. A Contested Parentage Order is entered after a court hearing in which both parties must present evidence to prove the parentage of the child.
