Washington Answer Form (also known as a Washington State Answer Form) is a document used to respond to a complaint in the State of Washington. It is a legal document that must be filed with the court in order to have an official answer on the record. The Answer Form includes the defendant's response to the complaint, a statement of defenses, and a request for relief. There are two types of Washington Answer Form: General Answer Form and Limited Answer Form. The General Answer Form is used for an answer to a Complaint, Counterclaim, Cross-claim, or Third-Party Complaint. The Limited Answer Form is used for an answer to claims for money or property in Small Claims Court.
