Washington Petition For Instructions (Wi-Fi) is a legal document created by the Washington State Bar Association and used to provide instructions to the court in civil cases. It is a form of motion, similar to a motion for summary judgment or a motion to dismiss, that may be filed by either party in a civil case. Wi-Fi can be used to ask the court to decide an issue without the need for a full trial, or to ask the court to issue an order or instruction on a certain matter. Wi-Fi can also be used to request a hearing or other procedural action. There are several types of Washington Petition For Instructions, including: Motion for Summary Judgment; Motion to Dismiss; Motion for Reconsideration; Motion to Compel; Motion for Discovery; Motion for Protective Order; and Motion for Injunctive Relief.
