2.90 CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES-UNLAWFUL IMPORTATION / 21 U.S.C. Sec. 952(a) & Sec. 960(a)(1) is the federal criminal offense of importing a controlled substance into the United States without authorization. It is prohibited by Title 21 of the United States Code, Sections 952 and 960, and it is punishable by a fine, imprisonment, or both.
