CJA 30 Payment Memo is a document used in the Federal court system to authorize payment for appointed counsel services. The CJA 30 Payment Memo is also known as the "Voucher for Services Rendered" or the "Appointment of Counsel and Authorization for Payment." This form is used to document the services that have been provided by an attorney appointed to represent a defendant in a criminal case in the Federal court system. The form includes information about the case, the services provided, the attorney’s rate of compensation, and the amount of payment due. There are four types of CJA 30 Payment Memos: CJA 30A for attorney services, CJA 30B for law clerk services, CJA 30C for expert witness services, and CJA 30D for interpreter services.
