Judicial Council Order, 12/15/05, is an order issued by the Judicial Council of the United States which provides guidance to federal courts regarding the implementation of the Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act of 2005. This order sets forth the procedures and deadlines for filing petitions, motions, and objections in bankruptcy cases. It also provides guidance on the interpretation and application of the new law.
