A Tennessee Order to Turn Over Funds (TOTO) is a court order issued by a Tennessee court to require a person, business, or entity to turn over money or other assets to another person, business, or entity. It can be used in a variety of situations, including the enforcement of a judgment, child support payments, or the settlement of a lawsuit. There are two types of Tennessee Order to Turn Over Funds: an Order to Turn Over Funds for Judgment and an Order to Turn Over Funds for Settlement. An Order to Turn Over Funds for Judgment is used when a judgment has been issued by a court and the party responsible for paying the judgment is not doing so. An Order to Turn Over Funds for Settlement is used when two parties have reached a settlement and the money or other assets need to be transferred. Both types of Order to Turn Over Funds require the party responsible for paying the money to provide proof that the funds have been turned over.
