A Rhode Island Certificate of Withdrawal (Foreign Non Profit Corp) is a document issued by the Rhode Island Secretary of State that officially withdraws a foreign non-profit corporation from the state. There are two types of Rhode Island Certificate of Withdrawal (Foreign Non Profit Corp): Voluntary Withdrawal and Administrative Withdrawal. A Voluntary Withdrawal is when the foreign non-profit corporation has met all of its legal requirements in the state and has filed the appropriate paperwork with the Secretary of State to officially withdraw from the state. An Administrative Withdrawal is when the foreign non-profit corporation has failed to meet its legal requirements in the state and the Secretary of State has issued an order to withdraw the corporation from the state.
