Rhode Island Notice of Foreign Registered Limited Liability Partnership is a legal document used by a foreign limited liability partnership (LLP) in order to register with the state of Rhode Island. It must be filed with the Rhode Island Secretary of State's office in order to conduct business activities in the state. The filing of the notice includes the submission of the name of the LLP, its registration number, the jurisdiction in which it is registered, the address of its principal office, the name and address of its registered agent, and the name and address of each general partner. The filing must be accompanied by a filing fee. There are two types of Rhode Island Notice of Foreign Registered Limited Liability Partnership: the standard notice and the amendment notice. The standard notice is used to register a new foreign LLP in Rhode Island. The amendment notice is used to make changes to an existing foreign LLP’s registration information.
